Jack Stevens – Although he was born and raised in the Syracuse area of upstate New York, Jack moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1964 where he met and married Vickie on the first day of Spring 1965. They raised 4 children, 2 girls then 2 boys, in the beautiful city of Pleasanton, CA. Jack enjoyed a successful 35 year career in banking, most recently concentrating on residential construction financing.
In 2008, they moved to the Lake Norman area and now call Cornelius home. Since 2010, he has served in membership services for the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and has truly enjoyed many great relationships here. This is truly a marvelous place to live, work and play, and we feel lucky to have found this special place.
Vickie and I were also fortunate to find the relationships that led us to the H.O.H.T. family of volunteers and friends and are thrilled to be able to contribute in some small way to help put the lake region back to work. Helping Others Help Themselves tries to give others a hand up; we have all needed it at some time in our lives and it is our pleasure to be able to pay it back.

Jennifer Kessler–I am happy to call Huntersville my home since July 2013. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a commercial recreation degree and minor in management but ended up in the mortgage industry for the past 12 plus years as a mortgage loan officer. I currently work at Guild Mortgage and have been with them since December 2014. I love what I do in walking people through the mortgage process with purchasing and refinancing their homes. In taking a short break from the mortgage industry around 2008 I was licensed and sold insurance for three years but found the mortgage industry calling me back.
In my spare time I love working out, paddle boarding, any outdoor activities, volunteering at church, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
